Senior Hardware Engineer - AI & Server Compute Design

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer - AI & Server Compute Design to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of advanced server and compute hardware for high-performance AI infrastructure. You will translate system requirements into robust board- and platform-level architectures, working closely with cross-functional partners to bring complex hardware programs from concept through production. This position offers the opportunity to influence critical design decisions, support manufacturing readiness, and help shape reliable solutions for large-scale cloud environments. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $214,000 – $220,000 annually Responsibilities Lead board- and system-level hardware design, including schematic design and layout direction Translate system-level requirements into executable engineering specifications and platform architectures Drive full product lifecycle execution through EVT, DVT, and PVT phases, ensuring performance and reliability Support manufacturing ramp and deployment, collaborating with Operations and Quality teams Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers and establishing best-practice workflows Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field 10+ years of hardware design experience, particularly in high-performance server or GPU designs Proven ownership of designs from concept through production, especially with hyperscalers or large cloud providers Deep understanding of high-speed interfaces (PCIe Gen5/6, CXL, NVLink, Ethernet) and power delivery networks Ability to architect and debug complex interactions across CPUs, GPUs, and system fabrics Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and influencing decisions Benefits Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Health Savings Account (HSA) Mental Health Care 401K with match Paid Holidays, Vacation & Sick Days Tuition Reimbursement Perks at Work LEAP Program MyFlexPay Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
