Senior Growth Strategist, Air Force

The Corporate Growth (CG) team is responsible for all aspects of organic growth for a $1B private equity-owned company, including marketing, pipeline management, business intelligence, opportunity capture, proposal development, differentiation and win strategies, company strategic plan, and Annual Operating Plan.
Responsibilities
- Lead corporate growth activities, including opportunity identification, business development, capture management, proposal development, and pipeline growth focused on the US Air Force.
- Identify and capture large opportunities (>$100M) by leveraging company-wide capabilities and developing cross-divisional collaborative teams.
- Develop and lead win strategies for Air Force opportunities, including customer, competitor, and client engagement to gain market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy, timing, and contract vehicle choices.
- Lead call plan development, execution, and follow-up activities.
- Perform market research, including customer preferences, competitive analysis, and incumbent strengths and weaknesses.
- Develop and present data in Capture Hygiene Checks, Solution Design Reviews, and Gate Reviews.
- Lead development and author RFI responses and white papers.
- Proposal writing and leadership of management and technical volumes, including project management plans, basis of effort development, technical volumes, past performance, and staffing plans.
- Collaborate with corporate growth personnel and other staff across the company to support cross-enterprise objectives and customer engagement.
Requirements
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of related experience in business development for professional services contracts supporting the Air Force or Department of Defense (DoD).
- Proven experience driving revenue growth and executing captures within the Air Force market.
- Experience building and managing a $1B+ pipeline.
- Demonstrated experience creating growth strategies and executing captures for US Air Force opportunities exceeding $100M for single-award contracts and $500M for multiple-award IDIQ contracts.
- Proven ability to develop creative and/or differentiated solutions for Air Force or DoD clients.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams and engage with senior Air Force stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading capture across various Air Force organizations.
- Proven success in winning single-award contracts in excess of $250M total contract value.
- Experience with commercial Business Intelligence tools such as Govwin and Bloomberg.
- Experience with OTAs, CSOs, SBIR Phase IIIs, and other alternative contracting options.
- Experience with selling commercial solutions.
- Experience supporting DevSecOps opportunities.

Pay
Salary range: USD $200,000.00/Yr. - USD $250,000.00/Yr. Salaries are commensurate with experience, qualifications, and market considerations.
Schedule
This position allows for a hybrid work schedule within the Northern VA/Metro DC area.
