Senior Graphic Designer

Responsibilities
- Coordinates with creative personnel, marketing, and other graphic professionals to gather information and materials needed for design.
- Proficient in print production for a variety of items from graphics to social media and some apparel.
- Designs and executes projects in a fast-paced environment to meet client needs and expectations.
- Learns compliance-related laws and requirements for cannabis packaging.
- Illustrates established design concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
- Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment.
- Assists with the coordination of photography, artwork, and printing.
- Creates eye-catching visuals for in-store displays, in-store signage, digital collateral, etc.
- Utilizes applications such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, and HTML.
- Performs work under minimal supervision, handling complex issues and problems, referring only the most complex to higher-level staff.
- Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
- Performs other duties as needed in support of business objectives assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of graphic designer experience.
- 4-6 years of marketing experience.
- Experience in a legal cannabis market highly preferred.
- Proficient/Expert in Adobe Acrobat & Adobe Illustrator (print production focused expertise).
- Detail-oriented and organized with strong communication skills.
- Ability to project manage based on priorities.
- Must be punctual, stable, reliable, and able to follow instructions.
- Works independently and exercises excellent judgement and initiative.
- Coachable, highly motivated, and driven to succeed.

Additional Requirements
- Must be over 21 years of age.
- Available for on-site operations work Monday-Friday; must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Willingness and ability to undergo cross-training in various roles within the department as required.
- Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and/or working on a computer.
- Able to stand up to 4 hours at a time.
- Able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods.
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 15 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
