Responsibilities
- Design high-quality visual assets across digital ads, social media, email, web, print, event signage, presentations, and other marketing materials while maintaining a consistent General RV brand look and feel.
- Translate marketing strategies into compelling designs that align with the General RV brand and business goals.
- Collaborate with copywriters, art directors, project leads, and the Creative Manager to develop cohesive campaigns and bring creative concepts to life.
- Manage projects from concept through completion, including designing, presenting, revising, and delivering final assets.
- Select photography, typography, artwork, graphics, and other design elements to support creative concepts.
- Manage large data merges into design layouts, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Present creative concepts and designs to internal stakeholders, explain design decisions, and incorporate feedback.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines while effectively prioritizing workload and maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide guidance and feedback to junior team members and review projects before they are presented to the Creative Manager.
- Stay current on design trends, tools, and best practices.
- Lead the development of the overall layout and production design for the General RV brand and advertisements across all media channels, including print, digital, social, internal communications, and internal projects.
- Act as a mentor and aid in the personal development of other Graphic Designers on the Creative team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of graphic design experience in an agency setting, digital and/or traditional preferred.
- A website with a portfolio showcasing your skills and previous work is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree is a plus but not required.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Past experience mentoring junior employees.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure to hit deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
