About the role
This is not a Standard grant writing role. Social Impact Solutions is hiring a Senior Grant Strategist to help nonprofit clients secure more funding through stronger grant strategy, better funding research, persuasive proposals, and disciplined grant management.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of nonprofit clients and serve as their primary strategic partner for grant planning and execution.
- Lead client communication, facilitate grant planning conversations, ask direct questions, identify missing information, manage expectations, and guide clients toward the strongest funding opportunities.
- Identify high-quality funding opportunities that align with each client’s programs, impact, geography, funding needs, and readiness.
- Build strategic grant calendars and funding plans that help clients focus on the opportunities most likely to produce meaningful results.
- Research, write, edit, and submit persuasive, compliant grant proposals.
- Maintain systems that ensure grant work is organized, deadlines are clear, client responsibilities are tracked, and 90%+ of applications are submitted on or before deadline.
- Help improve our grant systems, templates, research processes, proposal standards, and client workflows.
Qualifications
- Proven success securing foundation, corporate, and government grants.
- The ability to independently prioritize competing deadlines.
- Personally authored 50+ competitive grant proposals across multiple nonprofit organizations or clients.
- Experience managing multiple nonprofit clients or grant projects at the same time.
- Strong grant prospect research experience.
- Experience leading client meetings and managing client communication.
- Exceptional persuasive writing ability.
- Outstanding project management and organizational skills.

Pay
$65,000–$105,000 base salary plus performance-based bonuses.
