Senior Golang Engineer

About the role

Go (Golang) Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend applications and microservices. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Go programming, RESTful APIs, cloud technologies, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Go (Golang)
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices
• Develop microservices-based applications using modern backend technologies
• Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions
• Design and implement cloud-native applications using containerized environments
• Ensure high availability, performance, security, and reliability of backend systems
• Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical leadership for complex projects
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
• Optimize database performance and data integration processes

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang)
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and gRPC
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend development
• Strong programming experience in GoLang, Python, or Java
• Experience building scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift (OpenShift preferred)
• Experience working in Linux environments
• Strong understanding of API design, performance tuning, and system scalability
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Proven experience leading projects and contributing to architectural decisions
