Senior Golang Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Go (Golang) Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend applications and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Go (Golang).
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop microservices-based applications using modern backend technologies.
• Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Design and implement cloud-native applications using containerized environments.
• Ensure high availability, performance, security, and reliability of backend systems.
• Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical leadership for complex projects.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Optimize database performance and data integration processes.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang).
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and gRPC.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend development.
• Strong programming experience in GoLang, Python, or Java.
• Experience building scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift (OpenShift preferred).
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of API design, performance tuning, and system scalability.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience leading projects and contributing to architectural decisions.
