Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee export order screening and resolve non-standard screening issues within established frameworks
- Independently research and support ECCN classifications and jurisdiction determinations; maintain documentation and rationale
- Partner with Engineering and Development teams on export compliance considerations tied to product releases
- Act as a subject-matter resource for export compliance questions from internal stakeholders
- Execute and support export compliance training and maintain guidance materials
- Ensure records and documentation are complete and audit-ready
- Create, analyze, and report on export compliance metrics and trends
- Monitor regulatory changes and lead targeted process or workflow improvements
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required
Qualifications
- Several years of experience in export or trade compliance
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. export regulations and their application
- Demonstrated ability to apply judgment in ambiguous situations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- CES or similar certification preferred
