The Senior Global Sourcing Manager, Indirect plays a crucial role in managing dedicated Indirect commodities such as Software, Professional Services, Hardware, Capex, and Research & Development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies for Indirect commodities, focusing on cost optimization, contract standardization, scalability, risk mitigation, and supply chain resilience.
- End-to-end sourcing responsibility from requirements gathering and RFI/RFQ/RFP management to supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Act as the sourcing expert for the Indirect commodity.
- Serve as Anduril’s subject matter expert for sourcing analysis, renewals, and commercial negotiations.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, IT, Finance, Legal, and more to define requirements, ensure compliance, and align procurement with technical and business needs.
- Lead negotiations for multi-year, high-value agreements to establish best-in-class commercial and operational terms (pricing, renewals, payment, warranties, data protection, and IP ownership).
- Analyze complex pricing models and usage data to ensure Anduril receives the most competitive, transparent, and scalable pricing aligned with growth.
- Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships with key suppliers to drive innovation, service quality, and value creation.
- Drive supplier performance management, including quarterly business reviews, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Legal to develop and maintain standardized contracting frameworks (MSAs, SOWs, Amendments) to streamline execution and ensure consistency across global sites.
- Predict and manage spend, budget accurately, and monitor total cost of ownership (TCO) across the software portfolio.
- Identify and pursue cost-saving and process improvement opportunities, ensuring sourcing strategies scale with Anduril’s rapid growth.
- Provide executive-level visibility into category performance, supplier risk, and key sourcing initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field
- 8+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management of one or more of these areas: IT, software and/or professional services
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA
Prior to employment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
Pay
US Salary Range: $166,000 - $220,000 USD
