About the Opportunity
The Senior Global Benefits Manager will step into a high-impact leadership role responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end design, localized implementation, and strategic management of the organization's comprehensive global benefits, wellness, and leave programs. This pivotal role ensures that employees across diverse international entities receive highly competitive, culturally aligned, and fully compliant benefits packages that champion their holistic well-being and elevate the day-to-day employee experience. Operating as a core pillar of the People team, this position carries significant strategic weight in aligning global total rewards with the organization's baseline values and rapid international growth.
Responsibilities
- Formulate, execute, and continuously refine a comprehensive global benefits strategy spanning medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement/pension schemes, localized perks, and mental health wellness programs
- Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with international insurance brokers, third-party administrators (TPAs), and vendors, ensuring strict service level agreement (SLA) adherence and compliance
- Optimize, scale, and streamline global leave of absence (LOA) and workplace accommodation workflows, emphasizing process automation and seamless third-party vendor collaboration
- Lead the design and delivery of global open enrollment strategies, authoring clear, engaging communication campaigns that maximize employee literacy and program utilization
- Collaborate directly with Legal, Payroll, Compliance, and Finance teams to ensure absolute adherence to international labor laws, statutory benefits mandates, and regional tax reporting requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive, professional global benefits management experience, with a proven track record operating within fast-scaling, publicly traded technology corporations
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise in benefits design, compliance, and administration across a distributed footprint including the US, Canada, Europe, India, and Pakistan
- Proven background managing multi-million dollar global benefits budgets and navigating diverse medical funding structures (e.g., self-insured vs. fully insured models)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to build predictive data models, manage VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH structures, and analyze large demographic datasets
- Exceptionally strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a natural ability to translate complex, technical insurance plan architectures into clear, empathetic guidance for employees
- A highly proactive, continuous-improvement mindset focused on driving operational efficiency, scaling administrative processes, and elevating program value
- Preferred Qualifications: Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation, or active progress toward completion, hands-on, production-level administration experience utilizing Workday Benefits or similar enterprise HRIS platforms, prior experience managing benefits transition frameworks through corporate mergers, acquisitions, or rapid international entity setups
Pay Range and Compensation Package
The target baseline salary framework is $116,000.00 to $145,000.00 USD annually. Final baseline salary placement within this specialized tier is calibrated dynamically based upon the candidate's core international benefits depth, total rewards financial modeling skills, and relevant industry certifications.
