Senior Geotechnical Engineer - New Orleans
About the role
Ardaman & Associates, Inc. is a leading geotechnical engineering firm with extensive experience across the Southeastern U.S. and beyond. We are currently seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for our New Orleans office.
Responsibilities
- Work on a variety of challenging geotechnical engineering projects
- Plan and supervise field exploration and laboratory testing programs
- Conduct geotechnical engineering analyses and develop recommendations
- Write reports and consult with clients
Requirements
- Technical superiority and strong written/verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in project management and mentoring
- Louisiana Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Master’s or PhD degree in Geotechnical Engineering
- Knowledge of Southern Louisiana subsurface conditions and design/construction practices
- Experience with local governing agencies' requirements, particularly USACE New Orleans District (HSDRRS-DG), CPRA, LA DOTD, etc.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Louisiana P.E. license and a Master’s or PhD degree in Geotechnical Engineering. Specific experience with local regulatory requirements is preferred.
