Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Baton Rouge

Responsibilities
- Work on a wide range of challenging geotechnical engineering projects
- Support planning and supervision of field exploration and laboratory testing programs
- Conduct geotechnical engineering analyses
- Develop recommendations and write reports
- Consult with clients
Requirements
- Technically superior
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in project management
- Louisiana P.E. license (or the ability to obtain one)
- Master’s degree specializing in Geotechnical Engineering
- Knowledge of Southern Louisiana subsurface conditions
- Experience in design and construction practices in the area
- Specific experience pertaining to geotechnical analyses in regard to local governing agencies’ requirements including LA DOTD, CPRA, etc.
Qualifications
- Louisiana P.E. license (or the ability to obtain one)
- Master’s degree specializing in Geotechnical Engineering
Skills
- Technical expertise in geotechnical engineering
- Strong communication skills
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of Southern Louisiana subsurface conditions
- Experience with local governing agencies' requirements
