About the role
Responsible for leading a team of software developers in designing, developing, testing, and deploying new applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and design solutions.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from planning through deployment.
- Work closely with QA to identify and resolve bugs and performance issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Git, and Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and software engineering principles.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.
Qualifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Passion for technology and a strong desire to learn new technologies and tools.
Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
