Senior Geologist

About the role

We are seeking a proven oil finder to work seamlessly with our International new ventures team. This position is responsible for generating large-scale unconventional oil and gas prospects and executing highly active drilling programs. Qualified candidates must excel in all applicable geoscience technologies and handle a high volume of data.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment with reservoir, land, and operations engineering personnel to take prospects from concept through completion in a fast-paced drilling program.
• Incorporate geology and engineering data to determine horizontal development locations and reservoir evaluation.

Requirements

• MS degree in Geology.
• Minimum of 5 years of oil and gas prospecting experience in a variety of structural and stratigraphic styles.
• Proven ability to incorporate geology and engineering data to determine horizontal development locations and reservoir evaluation.
• Unconventional resources experience.
• Familiarity with computer-based geological applications.
• Excellent presentation skills.
