Senior Gen AI Developer with Java

Pay Range: $70/hr on W2

About the role

Lead the design and development of scalable, resilient, and high-performance Java-based applications within cloud-native environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, utilizing event-driven architectures and microservices. Implement and optimize AI-assisted development workflows, leveraging GenAI tools to enhance productivity and code quality. Drive modernization efforts by moving legacy systems toward distributed Java services and cloud-native platforms. Ensure application observability, resiliency, and operational readiness through best practices in testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience developing scalable Java, cloud-based, and web services applications supporting high-volume transactions.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or PCF, and deployment tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in working with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, and experience with system modernization initiatives.
• Practical knowledge of AI/ML implementation, Large Language Models, and AI-assisted engineering practices.
