Senior Gate Security Technician - ACT

About the role

Service and installation of commercial, retail, and industrial security systems across multiple states. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, responsible, and teamwork-oriented technician who ensures superior service and installations on all projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot CCTV Surveillance Systems, Access Control Systems, Burglar Alarm Systems, and Gate/Gate Entry Systems
• Apply strong mechanical and electrical skills, including conduit installation and cable/wire runs
• Work safely on ladders and lifts
• Perform tasks individually or as part of a team
• Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical individuals
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s full product and service line
• Represent the company professionally with new and existing customers
• Use security and alarm-based applications proficiently
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Security Systems Technician
• Previous low-voltage installation experience
• OSHA 10 training preferred
• Welding experience is a plus

Qualifications

• Organized, self-driven, and customer-service focused
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Climb stairs and/or ladders as needed
