Senior Fund Finance Associate – Private Equity

About the Role

Our client, a Boutique Private Equity firm, is looking for a Senior Fund Finance Associate to join their expanding team. The firm works on a hybrid basis in downtown Chicago and offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO, and retirement benefits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence on fund managers and support investment recommendations
• Analyze audited financial statements and operational processes
• Prepare research reports, Investment Committee memos, and meeting documentation
• Review legal and regulatory documents (e.g., offering memorandums, Form ADVs)
• Evaluate back-office operations, controls, and pricing procedures
• Track and organize data to support team efficiency
• Assist with manager meetings, onsite visits, and follow-up reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
• 2-5 years experience in public accounting (fund audit) or financial services
• Exposure to alternative investments (Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Financial Services) preferred
• CPA or CFA (or pursuing) is a plus
