Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, GRC

About the role

Vanta is a company dedicated to helping businesses earn and prove trust through continuous security monitoring and verification. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead complex projects, set technical direction, and mentor our engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders and engineers to deliver significant impact to our business
• Set direction for critical technical surface areas, enabling us to stay ahead of continued rapid growth
• Design, develop, and own new product functionality and/or infrastructure leveraging modern frameworks and tooling (TypeScript, React, Node.js)
• Work with talented and kind engineers to make a significant impact on our customer base, enabling them to improve their security and prove it
• Contribute to building Vanta’s engineering culture as we grow

Requirements

• At least 5 years of industry experience
• Previous experience playing technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects
• Previous startup experience, or experience working in an environment that prioritizes a bias for action
• Experience working on greenfield projects
• An interest in learning about security or prior experience in the space

Qualifications

• Technical expertise in software development using modern frameworks and tools (TypeScript, React, Node.js)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
