Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack

About the role

SeatGeek is seeking a seasoned frontend software engineer to lead product initiatives and contribute to the maturation of our front end tech strategy and stack. You will work closely with the design team and product managers to develop and implement innovative solutions that delight our fans.

Responsibilities

• Work with the SeatGeek design team and product managers to bring ideas to life to delight fans
• Mentor and grow web engineers across the organization
• Increase the maturity of our front end tech strategy and stack

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend software engineering, leading product initiatives end-to-end in recent years
• TypeScript/JavaScript: Exceptional grasp of the language, familiarity with modern frameworks and client-side rendering techniques
• UI & Product Instincts: Passion for creating inclusive and accessible experiences, ability to build on design team's work
• Architecture and Performance Optimization: Comfortable troubleshooting and architecting for performance and maintainability
• Adaptability: Experience with Python, design tools like Figma or Sketch, and comfort working full-stack

Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools like Figma or Sketch
• Comfort working with distributed systems and monitoring tools like AWS, K8s, Fastly, Datadog, Mixpanel, and Eppo
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and environments

Pay

The salary range for this role is $144,000 - $209,000 USD. This role is equity eligible. In addition, you may receive a discretionary annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.

Schedule

Our flexible schedule allows you to work as many days a week in the office as you'd like or 100% remotely.
