About The Role
As a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications using .NET, Angular, and AWS cloud technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, drive technical excellence, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment and support.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications using .NET and Angular technologies.
- Build and deploy scalable, cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services and best practices.
- Manage and support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Create and maintain technical design documents, architecture diagrams, and reusable development templates.
- Enhance and support existing applications by identifying opportunities for optimization, performance improvements, and modernization.
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to define, design, and deliver new features and applications.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting activities to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote engineering best practices across development teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing applications using .NET and Angular.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
- Experience building and deploying applications on AWS Cloud platforms.
- Experience with Python development and scripting.
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, software development best practices, and application lifecycle management.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Qualifications
- Experience designing and developing cloud-native applications and microservices architectures.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks and responsive web application development.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Ability to drive technical discussions, mentor team members, and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Passion for continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Benefits
- The annual salary for this position is between $68,442 to $131,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
- This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
