Senior Full Stack .NET AWS Developer - C#, React, AWS

About the role

Our client is looking for a Full Stack AWS Cloud Developer to architect, build, and support scalable cloud and on-premises hybrid applications. This role requires expertise in both front-end and back-end development, including UI design, API development, data integration, AWS cloud services, and secure coding practices. The developer will participate in requirements gathering, implement enhancements, reduce technical debt, ensure application security, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, compliant solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack applications using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js, Python, .NET, JavaScript)
• Build and deploy cloud-native services on AWS using Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, and more
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines
• Use GitHub for version control and source code management
• Participate in requirements discussions and transform them into useful applications in line with service goals
• Support, maintain, and enhance existing applications and fix issues
• Collaborate with peers to create the most effective solution possible using the .Net framework and Microsoft tech stack
• Take responsibility for identifying and reducing technical debt in existing code structure while boosting application effectiveness and improving performance
• Deliver error-free code that complies with secure coding practices
• Able to provide technical assistance for web, mobile, and desktop applications
• Incorporate data storage systems and preserve code quality
• Ensure application security and scalability, following AWS best practices and the Well-Architected Framework
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, UX, and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Monitor and optimize performance using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and other observability tools
• Document architecture and workflows using Confluence, diagrams, and version-controlled README files

Requirements

• C# and .NET Framework (6 yrs)
• ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC using Internet Information Services (IIS) (6 yrs)
• XML/json; WebAPI and RESTful Web Services (6 yrs)
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, and DynamoDB (5 yrs)
• JavaScript (TypeScript and React optional) (6 yrs)
• Oracle and SQL Server (6 yrs)
• Jira, GitHub, Azure DevOps (6 yrs)
• Visual Studio (6 yrs)

Pay

Hourly rate: $70.00 – $80.00

Schedule

Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST

Work model: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
