Senior AWS Developer (C#)

About the role

The role involves designing and coding in a variety of technologies supporting backend, APIs, and cloud systems. Key responsibilities include developing a high-volume telemetry data processing pipeline for IoT devices in AWS, utilizing services such as S3, SQS, Lambda, and DynamoDB.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-volume telemetry data processing pipelines for IoT devices in AWS
• Utilize AWS services including S3, SQS, Lambda, and DynamoDB
• Collaborate in an Agile Scrum environment using Azure DevOps (AZDO)
• Work in a fully remote setting

Requirements

• Proven experience with AWS services such as S3, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, and Lambda
• C#/.NET development of Web services, APIs, and web applications
• Experience using Git with Visual Studio
• Experience using the browser to clone Git repos to local machine
• Experience using Visual Studio to pull updates, create local branches, commit changes, push local branch to origin
• Experience using the browser to create a pull request and assign code reviewers
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, written)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership skills
• Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with others to establish common goals

• Property & Casualty Insurance Knowledge
• Agile/SCRUM and DevOps methodologies experience
