Senior Full Stack Java Developer

About the role

Grow your career with an innovative global bank in Tampa, FL as a Full Stack Java Developer with specialization in Big Data and Spark technology. Contract role with strong possibility of extension and conversion. Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and other relevant technologies
• Work with big data technologies like Apache Spark and handle large-scale BI reporting
• Implement and manage caching strategies using technologies like Redis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers
• Participate in agile development practices and contribute to continuous integration and delivery processes
• Lead projects and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience as full stack Java developer
• 5+ years of experience in the Financial Service industry
• Specialization in Big Data and Java Spark
• Knowledge of large-scale BI reporting tools
• Extensive experience with middle-tier caching strategies / technologies such as Redis
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills

Qualifications

• Ability to prototype, document designs, and communicate effectively to others
