About the role
We are looking for a skilled Senior Full Stack Java Developer with strong experience in building scalable, cloud-native applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices
- Build responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using Angular
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs for seamless system integration
- Implement serverless solutions using AWS Lambda
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS infrastructure, including: AWS ECS, AWS RDS, AWS S3
- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability
- Write clean, reusable, and well-tested code following best practices
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and architecture teams throughout the SDLC
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
The role requires in-person interviews at Cognizant offices or client locations, in Fort Washington, PA.
Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience in software development
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot
- Proven experience building microservices-based architectures
- Solid experience with Angular for front-end development
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including serverless and containerized workloads
- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment practices
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills

Pay
The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 to $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Schedule
This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client office in Fort Washington, PA.
