About the role

This role is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. The key responsibilities include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. This position involves coding solutions, conducting unit tests, and ensuring the solution can be successfully integrated into the overall application and system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to story refinement and defining requirements.
  • Participate in and guide the team in estimating work necessary to realize a story or requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
  • Perform proofs of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
  • Code solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement or story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
  • Utilize multiple architectural components across data, application, and business in the design and development of client requirements.
  • Aid the team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.
  • Contribute to existing test suites, analyze test reports, identify test issues or errors, and triage the underlying cause.
  • Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.
  • Participate in and contribute to the delivery and release events, including branching timelines, pull requests, and issue triage.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in frontend technologies such as React or Angular.
  • Strong backend development experience with languages like Java or Python.
  • Experience with API design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, version control (Git), and automated testing frameworks.
  • Understanding of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL.
  • Knowledge of security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and vulnerability management.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in full stack development.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and knowledge of RESTful APIs.
