Senior Full Stack Developer & Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned software engineer with 5+ years of relevant experience in a critical development role, capable of understanding how software delivers business value. This position requires excellent engineering skills, senior architecture expertise, and a deep working knowledge of key computer science concepts such as networking, operating systems, virtualization, and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-availability systems with a focus on scalability and reliability.
• Implement and manage containerization and Kubernetes environments, including GitOps workflows.
• Deploy and operate services at scale using Docker, Kubernetes, and service meshes like Istio.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation for automation.
• Deliver software using Agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban).
• Debug and analyze issues across networking, infrastructure, application, and database stacks.
• Implement and manage observability stacks (e.g., Datadog, AppDynamics, Dynatrace).
• Work with middleware technologies (e.g., MQ, Apache Kafka) to run services at scale.
• Manage senior stakeholder relationships with clear and concise communication.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a critical software development role with high business impact.
• Strong expertise in Java and full-stack development, with the ability to learn new languages and skills.
• Experience with CI/CD orchestration tools and GitOps practices.
• Operational experience with hyperscale systems and configuration management.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field (desirable).
• Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent.
