About the role

Join us as a Senior Full Stack Application Developer supporting a Contract Management Tool, a mission-critical platform for the Department of Defense (DoD).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable, secure full stack applications using modern frameworks and cloud technologies.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA teams, and mission stakeholders to define, develop, and implement financial tool capabilities.
  • Integrate with DoD financial management systems and ensure data compliance with government regulations.
  • Build RESTful APIs and microservices that ensure clean, secure data pipelines.
  • Apply secure coding practices in accordance with DoD STIGs and RMF guidelines.
  • Implement role-based access controls and maintain system integrity through audit-compliant design.
  • Participate in Agile sprint cycles, code reviews, testing, and release processes.
  • Support DevSecOps pipeline integration and CI/CD automation.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of full stack development experience supporting web-based applications.
  • Strong experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
  • Back-end expertise with C#, Node.js, .NET Core, Java, or Python.
  • Experience with SQL/PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GovCloud).
  • Strong understanding of application security, RBAC, and API development.
  • Experience working within DoD or federal IT environments.
  • Required Certifications (Government Compliance): DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Examples: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP).
  • Must be current and verifiable for network/system access.
  • Relevant Development Certifications (Preferred But Not Required): AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional), Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) or equivalent Agile credentials.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Familiarity with DoD budgeting processes (e.g., POM, O&M, RDT&E).
  • Experience developing financial or audit-traceable platforms.
  • Understanding of STIGs, ACAS scanning, RMF documentation, and system hardening.
  • Prior work on software tools used for budget forecasting, contract execution, or manpower allocation.
  • Clearance Requirement: Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
