Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

Join our dynamic team of engineers in San Francisco as a Senior Frontend Engineer. We are seeking an experienced professional who can lead the development of high-quality user interfaces and ensure seamless integration with backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable frontend solutions using modern web technologies.
• Collaborate with designers and other engineers to translate design concepts into functional, aesthetically pleasing user interfaces.
• Optimize performance and maintain a fast-loading website.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adhere to accessibility standards.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend engineering.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, React, and CSS.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks and libraries (Angular, Vue.js, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience with server-side technologies (Node.js, Express, etc.) is a plus.

Skills

• Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first approach.
• Experience with front-end performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of web accessibility guidelines (WCAG).

Pay

• $120,000 - $150,000 annually.

Schedule

• Full-time position.
