About the role

The Photoshop team is seeking a passionate Senior Web Developer to shape the future of digital imaging on the web. In this role, you'll work within a fast-paced, agile environment, collaborating with developers, quality engineers, designers, and product managers to modernize a world-class product and deliver an incredible user experience. We're looking for someone technical, driven, and creative, with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to bring best-in-class image editing to life across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the cultural and technical shift toward AI-augmented engineering, empowering peers to work smarter and ship faster.
  • Transform development patterns and deliver new experiences to users by employing AI tools.
  • Translate new browser technologies into real value for users.
  • Work with modern Web technologies such as Web Components to create portable, reusable UI.
  • Collaborate with research and other engineering teams to integrate and refine AI and LLM experiences.
  • Shape architectural and product design details when tasks or specifications are open-ended.
  • Work with teammates across all functional disciplines to ensure quality in all phases of development.
  • Write beautiful, self-documenting code that others can easily read and adapt.
  • Write and review engineering documents, review design specs, and participate in regular code reviews.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree (or master's) in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience developing modern Web applications, with strong programming fundamentals.
  • Experience building large, performance-conscious, interactive web applications.
  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Experience with Generative AI and LLMs.
  • Experience with AI Coding Tools.
  • Experience working with large, modular products and codebases.

Pay

The U.S. pay range for this position is $159,200 – $301,600 annually, varying by work location and depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Specific pay ranges for certain states are:

  • California: $208,300 – $301,600
  • New York: $208,300 – $301,600
  • Washington: $190,200 – $275,400

For sales roles, starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission). For non-sales roles, starting salaries are expressed as base salary with short-term incentives through the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). Certain roles may also be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
