About the role

Booker DiMaio is seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Developer to support a mission-critical Federal Intelligence Community program. This position is responsible for designing and developing secure, responsive, and intuitive web applications that enable mission-critical operations within a highly classified environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop modern, responsive, and secure web-based user interfaces.
  • Build interactive dashboards and data visualization components to support mission-critical operations.
  • Develop responsive web applications optimized for desktop and field users.
  • Implement secure authentication, authorization, and role-based access control interfaces.
  • Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and back-end services.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and cross-functional engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct usability testing and continuously improve application performance and user experience.
  • Ensure applications meet security standards, accessibility requirements, and front-end development best practices while mentoring junior developers.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph is required. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related technical discipline is also required, along with 8+ years of professional front-end development experience.

  • Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design, and modern JavaScript.
  • Experience using front-end build tools such as Webpack, Babel, npm, or Yarn.
  • Experience integrating applications with RESTful APIs.
  • Experience working with data visualization libraries and developing interactive dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of web application security and secure front-end development practices.
  • Experience developing applications within secure or highly regulated environments.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community or Department of Defense programs.
  • Experience with UX/UI design principles and user-centered development.
  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Experience using automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and accessible application development.
  • Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, or Vuex.
  • Experience developing GraphQL applications.
  • Experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) or Static Site Generation (SSG) frameworks.
