Location: Hudson, OH

Pay: $100,000 - $125,000 base, depending on experience

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior FP&A Financial Analyst to drive financial performance, improve profitability, and support strategic decision-making. This role will deliver actionable business insights by integrating financial and operational data, building robust financial models and dashboards, and leading profitability and working capital analysis across manufacturing sites. The ideal candidate combines strong FP&A experience, deep manufacturing operations knowledge, and advanced analytics skills to influence operational strategy and support EBITDA, cash flow, and cost optimization initiatives.

This is a niche role and a special opportunity for the right person! We are looking for someone who has worked as a Financial Analyst that interfaces with the factory floor on a daily basis. This is not a desktop analyst role. We are looking for real-time variance auditing on machines, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly and quarterly financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations, explaining drivers and recommending corrective actions to improve EBITDA and cash flow.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, scenario analyses, and long-range plans to support capital allocation, cost reduction programs, and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with plant leadership and cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Accounting) to translate operational metrics into financial impact and prioritize improvement opportunities.
  • Design, build, and maintain reporting solutions and interactive dashboards using ERP data and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) to deliver timely insights on cost, throughput, yield, scrap, labor productivity, and working capital.
  • Own profitability analytics by product line, customer, and plant; identify margin erosion, root causes, and opportunities to improve contribution and mix.
  • Drive manufacturing analytics projects (cycle-time, capacity, OEE, scrap analysis) to quantify operational performance and inform investment and process decisions.
  • Support monthly close activities and provide commentary on manufacturing-related P&L movements, balance sheet items, and cash flow drivers (inventory days, receivables, payables).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4-5+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, or operations finance experience with significant exposure to industrial manufacturing environments and experience on the factory floor.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and hands-on expertise with Power BI or similar reporting/visualization tools.
  • Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query, VBA or equivalent), with a track record of building robust scenario and cost models.
  • Demonstrated manufacturing analytics experience (OEE, throughput, yield, scrap analysis) and profitability analytics across products, customers, and sites.
  • Strong understanding of EBITDA, cash flow, working capital management, inventory accounting, and cost drivers in a manufacturing setting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to present complex analyses to non-financial audiences and influence operational decisions.
  • Experience driving strategic initiatives, leading cross-functional projects, and delivering measurable cost, margin, or cash flow improvements.
  • High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset; comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
