About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis team at Envestnet plays a critical role at the intersection of strategy and execution, transforming complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights that guide business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting requirements for the Operating Expenses of Envestnet’s P&L.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models used for budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, and long-range planning.
  • Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and drivers of performance.
  • Prepare variance analysis comparing actual results to budget, forecast, prior year, and other relevant benchmarks.
  • Build and deliver management reporting packages, dashboards, and presentations that support business reviews and executive decision-making.
  • Extract, organize, and validate financial and operational data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting and analysis.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across finance and the business to support planning activities, evaluate performance, and address ad hoc analytical needs.
  • Lead projects independently and contribute to cross-functional initiatives that improve reporting, planning, and decision support processes.
  • Support compliance with applicable legal, compliance, risk, business continuity, and internal control requirements within the role and department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial analysis, or a related field.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong systems aptitude and data management skills, with the ability to work with large and complex data sets.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; experience with databases and financial or reporting systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Nice-to-Have: Experience with data visualization and reporting tools preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present analyses and insights clearly to management.
  • Knowledge of capital markets or investment management is a plus.

Pay

The base salary range for this role is $94,600 to $118,300. Individual pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws.

Schedule

The primary work location for this role is Berwyn, PA with a hybrid work model.
