Job Responsibilities
- RFQ tooling
- Design New Pattern Tooling
- Resolve casting issues
- Re-gate
- Simulate
- All other tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Foundry Engineer Experience - Tools Quotation, Casting Scrap defects analysis & resolution, Foundry process knowledge, no-bake process, cold box process
- Foundry tooling Design Experience - Pattern and core boxes, Complex modeling, intuitive knowledge of P/L, offsets, clearances, layout in tool build, no-bake process, cold box process
- Creo modeling and flow simulation analysis using SolidCast
Qualifications
- Education Requirements: Associate's OR Bachelor's degree with 5 years' relevant experience.
Skills
- Strong CAD skills (Creo prefers).
- Machining print reading and geometric tolerance understanding.
- Casting simulation experiences (SolidCast prefers) (Desired).
- CNC milling knowledge.
