Responsibilities
- Design Reactor Modification Tooling incorporating various actuation methods within schedule and cost limits
- Draft fabrication drawings and build/test designed tooling for performance validation
- Prepare 3D models, specifications, and test plans to support tooling development
- Collaborate with teams to deliver tooling designs that meet Nuclear Quality and Safety standards
- Perform design reviews for peer and leadership feedback
- Write operation procedures for field deployment teams
- Provide emergent issue support to customers during Outage Season
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical design and testing, including 2D drawings and 3D modeling
- 5 years nuclear industry experience
