About the role
At Feastables, you will play a crucial role in the development and commercialization of innovative and high-quality food products. Reporting to the Director of Product R&D, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to deliver seamless integration of product formulations into our product launches and supply chain processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative food product formulations that enhance customer experiences and align with Feastables' brand values
- Lead product commercialization from idea to market, working cross-functionally as a Technical Leader and product expert
- Develop and implement product specifications, standards, and guidelines in conjunction with FSQA partners
- Work cross-functionally on rapid consumer test product needs, lead rapid internal prototype development and sample production
- Manage product trials and first productions on site at co-manufacturers, with the need to travel - capturing all formulations and process flows
- Independently manage relationships with co-manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality materials
- Process-oriented problem-solving and awareness to mitigate risks for product commercialization including across co-man networks and variable equipment lines
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in food science roles, preferably in Confectionery CPG
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful food product formulations with a strong focus on commercialization
- Strong knowledge of food product development, commercialization processes, and testing methodologies
- Experience working with confectionery materials and creating prototypes at lab scale
- Prior Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Talent for driving to clarity in ambiguous situations
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Pay
The annual base salary for this role falls between $105,000-$130,000.
Schedule
Approximately 25% travel with some international.
