About the Role
Working independently or with technical sales representatives, the Senior Flow Cytometry Specialist will be primarily responsible for sales through lead generation activities, funnel management, qualification, and providing demos.
Responsibilities
- Meets and/or exceeds company sales forecasts in designated area for assigned products through in-depth knowledge of market segments, technical knowledge, and sales skills.
- Identifies potential sales leads and develops sales plan for converting leads to sales using available resources.
- Routinely makes customer presentations and workshops to build product interest and engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Plans and conducts product demos coordinating with FCAS and/or TSC to achieve success.
- Travels throughout assigned area to develop strong customer relationships, enhance and maintain knowledge of accounts, solicit orders, perform product demonstrations, attend trade shows, and perform troubleshooting.
- May provide primary field support for the MACSQuant® install base, including onsite training and applications support post-sale as needed.
- Trains and mentors other Flow Cytometry Specialists (FCS’s).
- Supports the new hire process by screening potential candidates.
- Maintains internal documents such as price lists, sales presentations, and competitor assessments in a field-accessible, central location.
- Serves as the primary FCS liaison to INC marketing.
- Regularly uses and complies with the corporate electronic account management system (CRM), documenting interactions with customers, managing leads and appointments, and tracking opportunities.
- Maintains relationships with MACSQuant® install base, coordinating communication with FCAS and TSC.
- Participates in strategic market analysis and provides competitive information to management to assist in identifying new product opportunities and opportunities for special marketing programs.
- Works collaboratively in shared accounts to grow the sales of the company overall.
- Travels domestically and internationally as required.
Requirements
- Ph.D., M.S., or B.S. degree from a four-year college or university and three to five years of equipment sales experience in the life sciences environment; flow cytometry experience preferred.
- Familiar with a variety of sales concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, evidence of insurance/insurability, and ability to receive appropriate clearance to access restricted government accounts.

Pay
The hiring range for this position is expected to fall between $120,485.00/year and $141,747.00/year, reflecting the range candidates can reasonably expect to be considered for at the time of offer, based on factors such as experience, internal equity, and qualifications.
In addition to the base salary, the role is eligible to participate in a broader compensation package, which includes performance-based incentives. The total compensation of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, specialization, skills, abilities, and training.
