Senior Flight Software Platform Engineer, Embedded C/C++, Air Dominance & Strike

About the role

The Flight Software team at Anduril develops flight computer vehicle software for all airborne and subsea vehicles. The role requires experience in both commercial and public sector technical environments, with a passion for avionics and flight software.

Responsibilities

• Enable order-of-magnitude increases in developer productivity through reusable software
• Pushing the boundaries of scalable embedded software development
• Create packaging and distribution infrastructure at scale
• Create abstraction layers for integrated vehicle control systems
• Create reusable HITL and SITL infrastructure

Requirements

• Scaled from a small team to a large software organization
• Strong C/C++ programming skills
• Experience with software packaging and distribution systems (Nix, Bazel, etc)
• Background in embedded software architecture, design and development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, etc., or equivalent experience

Qualifications

• Direct experience with DO-178 standards or similar certifications
• Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance

Pay

• $166,000—$253,000 USD
