Senior Embedded Software Engineer, C/C++ - AEROSPACE

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment in compliance with DO-178B/C guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of software documentation and user manuals.
  • Software design and development of new features and functions.
  • Implementation of Software Change Requests.
  • Assessment of In-Service issues, debug and solve problems.
  • Support Verification and Validation team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • Proficient in Embedded C/C++ Software programming language.
  • 5 years of experience in Avionics or real-time embedded software development.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and build and debug tool chains.
  • Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices.
  • Willingness to solve the real time challenges pertaining to concurrent execution of processes in a multicore environment.
  • Strong background in the design and development of data-driven architecture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited institution in Engineering in subjects such as Computer Science, Control Systems, Electrical/Electronic or any such equivalent discipline.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
  • Expertise in processes, standards, and system engineering norms, such as DO 178B/C.
  • Experience in Avionics or FMS product software development.
  • Experience in developing new features and solving complex issues in User Interface function.
  • Lab experience testing and verifying requirements of systems and software.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently takes the initiative to get things done.
  • Multi-tasking and the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks.
  • Diverse thoughts and ideas; and experience teaming and collaboration with global Engineers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Passion for technology and continuous learning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
