Senior Fitness Instructor/ Personal Trainer
About the Role
We are seeking a fitness professional to lead classes in Savage on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys working with the older adult population, has a vibrant and outgoing personality, and a background in personal training, group fitness, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or related experience.
Our trainers receive ongoing support and training and can build flexible schedules around other commitments.
Responsibilities
- Lead fitness classes for older adults
- Engage with seniors of all ability levels to promote health and wellness
- Provide customer service and support to class participants
Requirements
- Experience in personal training or group fitness classes
- Previous background working with seniors (health and wellness, caregiving, or physical therapy a plus)
- National fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or NCCA accredited equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices
