We’re looking for a skilled PCIe Firmware Engineer to collaborate with our teams and enable customers to build the next generation of supercomputers and AI fabrics.
Responsibilities
- Solve complex PCIe firmware issues for key customers, acting as their trusted technical expert.
- Collaborate with Chip Design, Software, and Architecture teams to diagnose root causes and implement long-term solutions.
- Translate customer needs and field data into actionable feedback that shapes future product development.
- Improve team processes and contribute to a shared knowledge base to enhance collective effectiveness.
Requirements
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of professional experience in embedded firmware development, with deep PCIe expertise.
- Strong foundation in computer architecture, operating systems, and object-oriented programming.
- Proactive, curious mindset with a passion for continuous learning and problem-solving.
- Ability to clearly explain complex technical issues to customers and engineering peers.
- Experience using scripting languages (Python, Bash) to automate tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or application engineering role.
- Direct experience with PCIe switch architecture and firmware.
- Deep knowledge of hardware verification concepts and tools (C++, Jenkins).
- Expertise in networking protocols and the Linux operating system.
Pay
Base salary ranges: 184,000 USD – 287,500 USD (Level 4) or 224,000 USD – 356,500 USD (Level 5), based on location, experience, and comparable roles. Eligible for equity and benefits.
