Senior Fintech Operations Analyst (Hybrid-Kansas City)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Market Operations professional to join our experienced team. This role is crucial for supporting and optimizing the performance of our financial marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational integrity by monitoring marketplace health and performance, identifying and resolving issues.
• Own daily reconciliation and exception handling across payment flows.
• Act as key liaison between stakeholders (banks and payment processing teams) and Buyers (Payments, Accounts Payable, Procurement, ERP teams).
• Manage Supplier data issue cases, collaborating with enterprise IT and ERP resources to resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Capital Markets to improve tools, workflows, and automation.
• Use data to uncover trends, troubleshoot problems, and propose solutions enhancing user experience and efficiency.
• Support new market launches and partner onboarding efforts.
• Contribute to internal documentation, process improvement initiatives, and strategic projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven track record in Trade Finance, including operations, payments, financial services, or a tech-driven business.
• An analytical mindset with advanced proficiency in Excel and comfort working with data.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and a desire to improve how things work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This position offers an in-office option with flexibility to work remotely two days per week.
