Senior Financial Systems Engineer
About the role
Vanta is a company dedicated to helping businesses earn and prove trust through continuous security monitoring. We are seeking a Senior Financial Systems Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities
Own the architecture, configuration, and operational health of Zip (Procure to Pay).
Implement Vanta's first CPM tool, working with an implementation partner, and own the product post-launch.
Design and maintain the finance data model in Snowflake, translating FP&A and Accounting requirements into data plans and SQL models.
Architect and maintain integrations between NetSuite and adjacent systems using iPaaS tools and direct API connections.
Collaborate with Procurement, AP, FP&A, Accounting, Legal, GRC, Data/Analytics, and RevOps teams to develop system solutions that meet business needs.
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on Financial Systems Analyst/Engineering/Management experience in a high-growth SaaS environment, including project management from requirements gathering to go-live support.
Expertise in the Procure to Pay function and procurement tools (Zip, Coupa, Ariba, or similar).
Proficiency in SQL, including writing, reviewing, and debugging custom scripts.
Experience designing, implementing, and supporting CPM tools for FP&A (Adaptive Insights, Pigment, Anaplan, or similar).
Experience building and maintaining multi-system integrations using iPaaS platforms and API endpoints (Workato, Boomi, or similar).
Understanding of AI governance frameworks and practical experience embedding AI into finance and accounting workflows.
Strong written communication and design documentation skills.
