Senior Financial Systems Analyst: Peoplesoft Financials

About the role

This role provides expert functional support and business analysis for financial systems to meet operational and reporting needs. You will identify and drive process and system enhancements to improve efficiencies, lead new system implementations and upgrades, develop comprehensive training materials, and serve as the first level of support for development, support, and business analysis of financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support and business analysis: troubleshoot production issues, fulfill customer requests promptly, conduct root-cause analysis, and develop solutions to prevent recurring issues.
• Identify and drive enhancements to improve efficiencies within financial systems by developing detailed business requirements and managing user testing.
• Lead system implementations and upgrades: oversee business process design, develop detailed business requirements, and manage user testing to ensure successful completion.
• Develop training materials for financial applications and conduct training sessions as needed.
• Develop and maintain documentation for new and existing systems and processes.
• Manage project responsibilities including project lead and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (Master’s Degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in a functional role supporting PeopleSoft Financials.
• Strong experience in analyzing complex business processes, gathering requirements, designing solutions, creating functional documents, and writing test cases.
• Experience supporting at least three of the following PeopleSoft modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Tree Manager, Security, PS/nVision, and PS Query.
• Experience with PeopleSoft custom modules support, analyzing and troubleshooting production issues.
• Experience in gathering requirements, conducting business analysis, and writing business specifications.

Skills

• Working knowledge of PeopleTools and SQL.

• Proven time management skills with the ability to multi-task and quickly respond to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in writing SQL statements.

Pay

The posted salary range for this position is $105,232.10 – $142,310.44. A candidate’s position within the hiring range may be based on competencies, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business needs. This role is also eligible for annual bonus incentive pay.
