Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process, ensuring reports are complete, accurate, and delivered on schedule.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Oversee external reporting requirements, including statutory reporting, lender or stakeholder reporting, and other required disclosures as applicable.
- Research complex accounting issues, draft technical accounting memos, and recommend appropriate treatment for non-routine transactions.
- Coverage external reporting requirements, including statutory reporting, lender or stakeholder reporting, and other required disclosures as applicable.
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities, manage prepared-by-client requests, and support timely resolution of audit findings.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting, including documentation, testing support, and remediation of identified gaps.
- Review reconciliations, journal entries, variance analyses, and reporting packages for completeness and accuracy.
- Partner with finance, tax, treasury, legal, operations, and systems teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and improve reporting quality.
- Monitor changes in GAAP and other regulatory guidance as relevant to the organization, and lead implementation of new requirements.
- Drive process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency, control, and insight.
- Support special projects, ad hoc analysis, executive presentations, and other strategic finance initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- CPA or equivalent professional accounting designation strongly preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience, including leadership responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Demonstrated experience managing audits, technical accounting issues, and month-end or quarter-end close activities.
- Experience leading teams and developing staff in a deadline-driven environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex accounting matters to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and exercise sound professional judgment.

Pay
The estimated salary range for this role is $136,000-$175,000, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
Schedule
We anticipate this requisition will be open for a minimum of five days, though it may be open for a longer period of time.
