Job Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis
- Develop forecasts, financial models, dashboards, and analytics tools
- Conduct demand and pricing analysis
- Develop and manage long-term planning scenarios
- Prepare financial reports, summaries, and presentations
- Support the development and maintenance of Anaplan models
- Develop and manage personnel dashboard
- Budget Monitoring
- Monitor departmental expenditures against budget allocations
- Review budget-to-actual performance
- Identify discrepancies and work with departments to implement corrective actions
- Assess operational trends and financial sustainability
- Budget Development
- Collaborate with the Budget Manager and division leaders
- Prepare the annual budget for assigned areas
- Analyze data for budget development
- Present budget information to leadership
- Incorporate multi-year projections and scenario modeling
Requirements
- Able to understand and comply with policies, procedures, and strict confidentiality standards, including HIPAA, FERPA, and other applicable regulations.
- Knowledge of general office practices and procedures, with the ability to apply mathematical concepts, analyze data, solve complex financial problems, and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional, service-oriented working relationships.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, adapt to changing priorities, learn new systems, and implement process improvements to enhance departmental operations.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of university budgets, systems and operations (preferred)
