Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst
About the role
Original Composites and Fibers (OCF) is a global leader in glass reinforcement solutions for the composites industry. Recently separated from Owens Corning, the business now operates independently under the Praana ownership model, continuing a strong legacy of innovation, manufacturing excellence, and customer partnership.
The Financial Planning and Analysis ("FP&A") Analyst provides analytical support and leadership to the OCF FP&A team and the OCF business leadership. The FP&A Analyst gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for strategic and operating plans as well as near-term financial forecasts. This individual will be responsible for assisting with the consolidation and reporting of financials of the business including the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
Key Responsibilities
- LivetheSafetystandard,adheretotheSafetyresponsibilities.
- Developsandmaintainsfinancialmodelsandconsolidationtoolstosupporttheoperatingandstrategicplansandforecasts.
- Ensuresintegrityandqualityoffinancialandstatisticaldata.
- Identifyssprocessinefficienciesandinformationgaps,andbridgethosegapsthroughprocessdesignandre-engineeringasitrelatestoforecasting,planningandfinancialmodeling.
- Works closelywithregionalOCFfinancesettosunderstandforecastsubmissions,variancesfrompriorforecasts/plans,SIDsubmissionstoassistintellingtheconsolidatedOCFstory.
- ContinuouslybuildsandintimateknowledgeoftheOCFbusinessstoprovidingsignificantanalysisincomparisonofactualresultstosubmittedbudgetsandforecasts.
- Works closelywithDirectorandVice-PresidentofFinanceoncriticalfinancialmatters.
- Participatesinannuallong-rangestrategicplanningprocesstoconsolidateassumptionsandpresentarangeofoutcomes.
Reporting and Analysis
- Design,maintain,deliver,andeownanintegratedandconsolidatedfinancialforecastanalysismodelthatprovidesaforecastofthebusinessforOCFglobally.
- LeadEBITSIDconsolidationandpreparationensuringcompliancewithcorporatefinancialstandard.
- Assistinpreparationofmonthlycommunicationthroughmanagementdecksandisthekeypointofcontactforworkingcapital.
- AssistsinpreparationofpresentationstotheManagementTeamandPraana.
- Ownstheforecastingandanalysisofworkingcapital,drivesprocessenhancementstointrofforecastingaccuracy,andsharesinsightswithregionstoensureaccurateinputsinfinancialforecasts.
Qualifications & Requirements
- MinimumQualifications&Experience:
- -5-7yearsofexperienceinbusinessorcorporatefinancewithbroadmixofassignmentsandexperienceacrossmanyfunctionalareas.
- -Bachelor'sdegreeinFinanceorrelatedfieldrequired.
- PreferredQualifications&Experience:
- -Experienceinmultinational,manufacturingcorporation.
- -CPAand/orMBAhighlydesirable.
- -StrongexpertiseinMicrosoftExcel&PowerPoint.
- -KnowledgeofSAP,BIandWorkiva.
