About the role
LPL’s Paraplanning Services team is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Senior Financial Planner to support advisors in all aspects of financial plan design and analysis. This individual will serve as a financial planner supporting several LPL advisors and their end clients.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate relationships with advisors ensuring client satisfaction to drive continued utilization and retention of planning services.
- Understand and follow Paraplanning team standards.
- Communicate and align on expectations with advisors understanding their preferences and needs to effectively work within Paraplanning Services.
- Collaborate with teammates during the plan development process.
- Professionally present completed financial plans.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of personal financial planning concepts and stay informed of current financial planning developments and industry trends.
- Identify advisor needs and additional opportunities to refer to business partners including, but not limited to Client Experience, High Net Worth Services, and Tax Planning.
- Maintain knowledge of all Wealth Planning offerings.
- Engage with the advisor through onboarding, integration, and throughout the advisor relationship with Paraplanning Services.
- Cultivate positive working relationships within the team and all business units across Comprehensive Advice.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent experience
- CFP® strongly preferred, equivalent experience or working towards CFP®
- 5+ years of financial services experience
- 3+ years of experience in the development and presentation of comprehensive financial plans
- Experience with eMoney, MoneyGuide or RightCapital
Core Competencies
- Understanding of personal financial planning including, but not limited to retirement, personal wealth management, risk management, and education planning
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once
- Interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Software/Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to effectively communicate, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail
Pay
$76,323.00 – $127,205.00. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
