Analysis of the financial outputs, connecting them with the underlying input drivers and translating them into insights.
Drive core financial processes for the Everyday Essentials business including Annual Operating Plan, long range Strategic Plan and Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews.
Financial Reporting and Analysis
Work with business leaders and cross-functional teams to present business results and statistical analysis and recommendations to senior management for decision making.
Perform financial reporting, ad-hoc data analysis, and financial modeling using a broad range of tools including Excel, SQL, and COGNIS.
Strategic Planning and Analysis
Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout Amazon.
Design Scalable Solutions
Create effective business partnerships, manages competing priorities, and provides guidance based on data analysis during unexpected events.
Communication and Data Presentation
Use active listening skills intuitively to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
- 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
- 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
