Senior Financial Analyst, US Consumables, Ambient Food & Beverage

The US Consumables Finance team supports core Consumables category business such as Health and Personal Care, Grocery, Beauty, Premium Beauty, Baby, and Pets, along with various impactful programs like Everyday Essentials, Subscribe and Save, Amazon Access, and Climate Pledge Friendly.

Responsibilities

• Build reports and financial models to address complex business questions across Ambient Food and Beverage GL
• Own P&L analysis, analyzing financial outputs, connecting them with input drivers, and translating insights for both categories
• Proactively dive deep to ensure reporting accuracy, regularly auditing work and enforcing high standards
• Identify incomplete or inaccurate data, determine root causes, escalate discrepancies, and execute fixes
• Contribute to core financial processes for Ambient Food and Beverage, including Annual Operating Plan, long-range Strategic Plan, and Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews
• Design scalable solutions to automate reporting of key performance metrics and analysis to achieve business goals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• 3+ years of tax, finance, or related analytical field experience
• 4+ years of experience identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes
• 3+ years of experience dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy
• 3+ years of experience contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy
