About the role

Join the Cleveland Clinic team, where you will work alongside passionate caregivers and provide patient-first healthcare. Cleveland Clinic is recognized as one of the top hospitals in the nation. In this role, you will provide Financial or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) data, metrics and both standard and ad hoc reporting to support the organization’s strategic and operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) data, metrics and standard/ad hoc reporting to support the organization's needs.
  • Prepare, analyze and communicate key financial information.
  • Provide support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and other issues.
  • Aid in budget preparation, budget review for compliance and financial planning processes.
  • Retrieve and manipulate complex information with database tools, such as SAS and Teradata.
  • Consult with all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
  • Perform special projects and duties related to research, forecasting and conflict resolution.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field and four years of financial or revenue cycle management or general analytical experience
  • OR Master’s degree and three years of experience
  • OR Cleveland Clinic Finance Fellow experience and three years of experience
  • Ability to complete sophisticated analytical, consultative and information support through analysis and report preparation
  • Ability to lead projects and people
  • Strong understanding of key performance indicators, cash flow analysis, product line analysis and proposal development

Preferred qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Account (CMA) certification
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Revenue and finance experience
  • Experience in hospital systems and revenue cycle exposure
  • Technical skills such as Oracle, Excel, Microsoft Office, Snowflake and EPIC
  • Revenue Cycle management experience

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.
  • In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
  • In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.

Pay Range

Minimum Annual Salary: $57,510.00
Maximum Annual Salary: $87,697.50
